Our ward is having a 'Young Couples Dinner' in a couple of weeks. Today I asked Brad, "What's a 'young' couple"? He said, "Not us."
So there you have it. We're officially not young.
On a happier note, the cut off was 38, so we are just barely not young.

This is Brad here and I would like to point out that I am still a young couple. It is Amy that is no longer a young couple. She is always holding us back with her geriatricness.
This is true. Brad has 7 months of youngness left. Honey, you are more than welcome to attend the 'young couples' party without me. Knock yourself out. I'll stay home and watch Lawrence Welk and Matlock.

I would be so mad if my ward had a young couples dinner and actually had the gall to come up with an age that they considered young/not young. Seriously!
Brent is 3 months my younger too. I make up for my seniority with superior looks, wit, and intelligence...just like Amy :)
My fave is when people ask if we're going to have more kids. I tell them that I'm too old. They insist that I'm not. I spill the truth about my age. They try to muffle the reality-induced choke that but they end up agreeing that I'm over the hill for that project.
:) Not sure geriatricness is a word... But if it were, I would fall in that category as well.
Oh, and I love Matlock.
