Thanks for posting this wonderful picture. The picture is a fitting end to the story of Lyssie's persistence in getting those seeds planted. The little girl looking back at us looks so much like Amy and Lisa that the family relationship cannot be mistaken.

What a darling picture. I expect this to be the topic or at least mentioned in many a church talk for years to come!! Good on ya, Alyssa!

What a great story. "The Little Seed that Could". We can all learn much from that. Thanks for sharing.

By the way, Amy, ANY GOOD MOM would make half a dozen REAL pumpkin pies from those gems. Don't ya think?

Those aren't just random pumpkins but they actually look nice and fat and round! Our local store has mangy ones. Tell Lyssie we're coming over next year to pick our pumpkins from her pumpkin patch.

These are beautiful! We had a late growing season this year so they never had a chance to orange up before the frost hit, so my porch had a litter of green pumpkins on it.
